Stay tuned till the end of this video to know In Sri Kalpa Sutra, which we hear in every sermon, Jain saint Sadhvi Ji explained the conduct of ten Kalpas of God. Therefore the name of this sutra is Kalpasutra. Within one Kalpa, it is said that if Jain Sadhu, Sadhvi Ji Bhagwant goes to any one place, then in normal cases, they can stay at that place for one month i.e. thirty days. If Chaturmas is on then we have to wait for four months because it rains in Chaturmas and the chances of creation of living beings in the rains become very high and the first Mahavat of Jain saint Sadhvi Ji Bhagwant is non-violence. That is why at the time of creation of living beings, it is not appropriate to walk or travel on the road or to travel from one place to another. As for the remaining period i.e. after Chaturmas and before the beginning of Chaturmas. That means the total remaining time of eight months is called the remaining time. During that remaining period, Jain saint Sadhvi Ji Bhagwant can stay at one place for thirty days i.e. one month, which is called Maas Kalpa. The reason for this is that if Jain Sadhu Sadhvi Ji Bhagwant stays at that place for less time then self-study will not take place. When the entire day is spent in travelling, then self-study is not possible and traveling also leads to fatigue. For the same reason, a provision has been made to stay in the remaining period for a maximum of one month. In today's times, it has become such that there is no Jain settlement in every village. Due to the absence of Jain settlement, a big question arises about the safety of Jain Sadhu Sadhvi Ji Bhagwan. For the same reason, one has to travel long distances and go to some place further where there is a settlement of Jains. In earlier times, if a suitable place was found, even if it was three kilometers away, still Jain Sadhu Sadhvi Ji Bhagwant used to stay there. That's why even today if we go to the village, how far is the next place from here? So it was known in the village itself like two cows are far away, three cows are far away etc. That is, the distance between one village and another village, one cow can be about two and a half to three kilometers, so self-study can be done in a stay of less than a month. The possibility of its destruction i.e. its destruction becomes greater. For example, if they do Bihar every fourth or fifth day, they will not get time to study. And Swadhya i.e. study is the life of Jain Sadhu Sadhvi Ji Bhagwanto, that is why this limitation of thirty days was given. Now a question may arise in the minds of many people that why can't we stay at one place for more than thirty days? In the remaining time, first understand that when a person takes initiation, he takes initiation for the spiritual practice of renouncing attachment and hatred. Their goal is neither to get angry at anyone i.e. to get attached nor to have hatred towards anyone i.e. to hit. There is no attachment in favorable conditions and no hatred in unfavorable conditions, that is, no attachment in good environment and no feeling of sadness when difficulties arise. This remains his practice.
