After publishing my DIY 6S2P Li-ion FPV battery build, I kept questioning current handling and heat — so I revisited the design. In this follow-up, I break down why I reinforced the pack with copper bus bars and what changed after rebuilding it. In the previous video, I built a 6S2P Li-ion battery pack for long-range FPV use. After publishing it, I kept thinking about current paths, heat, and long-term reliability — and I also received some very valid comments pointing out the same concerns. So I decided to revisit the design. In this follow-up, I break down why I reinforced the pack with an additional layer of nickel strips and custom copper bus bars, how this changes current distribution, and what I observed after rebuilding the pack. This is not a step-by-step tutorial, but a technical reflection on design choices, trade-offs, and real-world considerations. In this video: – Why I questioned my original battery design – Copper bus bars and current handling in Li-ion FPV packs – Heat, resistance, and reliability considerations – What changed after revisiting the build This video is meant to document one specific solution and the reasoning behind it — not to present a universal recommendation. If you’re building your own Li-ion packs or enjoy technical FPV deep dives, feel free to share your thoughts or experiences in the comments. 🔗 Related videos ▶ Original DIY 6S2P Li-ion battery build • Tired of Short FPV Flight Times?
