To our surprise, a group of puppies ran out from the bushes. They rushed towards me, begging for food. They clung to my legs... I gently petted them... After finding a bit of food... I offered it to them. They eagerly devoured every bite, wagging their tails with joy. Determined to help these poor little souls, I prepared to rescue them and take them home. They were timid, but I remained patient... Just as we were about to catch them, a convoy of vehicles passed by... The loud honking startled the puppies. Five of them panicked and darted into the forest. We chased after them, desperate to bring them to safety. I spent four long hours searching... In the end, we could only catch two puppies. The other three remained hidden, lost in the darkening woods. As night fell, we had no choice but to head home with the two we managed to save. I felt a deep sense of regret for not being able to do more. All I could do was pray that the other three would survive... However, I vowed to return and search for them every day. Once home, the two rescued puppies were given warm baths and hearty meals.
