Support me on Ko-fi 💛 - https://ko-fi.com/officialcarlabelgas "Certified for epic Dame Da Ne moments." Bakamitai, also titled Baka Mitai (I've Been A Fool), is a karaoke song appearing in the video games Yakuza 0, Yakuza 5, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. It was originally composed by Mitsuharu Fukuyama with lyrics by Ryosuke Horii. Now some of you may be asking, "You've been covering a lot of oldies songs, Why the change of pace?". To answer that, I would like to point at my very first official cover. It is a (not decent) orchestral cover of Smash Mouth's All Star. I made that cover because of the meme that blew up back then. Plus, I genuinely liked the song. Now back to Bakamitai, I heard this first when a fellow furry I know (please don't kill me) sent a meme. It was those deep fake videos singing to this exact song. It was quite funny but I began listening to the song more, It was very catchy, Just like what I felt when I heard All Star. So I wanted to return to my roots. Making more orchestral covers of songs that aren't really practical for an orchestra. I hope you enjoy this cover/meme, This was by far the most challenging cover I have ever made, Mainly due to the fact that this song keeps changing key. Leave a rating or a comment. Any support is well appreciated! [SPOILERS] This is the very first Misairu third generation orchestral cover, Utilising the new instruments and techniques. It begins with the intro in a powerful fashion, A style I developed in composing. Flutes, Snares and some Strings are first in line for the first part. Enter more drums and brass, Let's put a Choir in there for good measure. Now some Solo strings for the lead melody in the chorus, Backed up by the Brass. A motif is played by the Trumpets along with some faster Strings. The Trumpet then transitions to play the melody. They are reinforced by the return of a percussion instrument I have not used in a while, "The Taiko Drum". Then what seems to climax, Subverts the expectation and turns into a beautiful emotional flute and string duet with a soprano singer. A loud transition takes place and the Finale begins. The entire orchestra blasts into a thunderous display, As if Kiryu Kazuma himself was conducting it. The choir sings full force as the trailer hits explode. The finale concludes with the motif from the Trumpet.
