How-To clean 45 records with TiteBond II wood glue. Had two OLD worn 45 records that even after regular cleaning were unplayable due to pops, hiss, crackling sounds on my Seeburg USC1 Bandshell Jukebox. One Capitol record is 1950 pressing of Mel Blanc "I Taut I Taw A Puddy Tat" which was ranked #9 in 1951. The other Capitol record is 1962 Ray Stevens "Ahab The Arab". Both were pre-cleaned yet the pops and scratchy background noise still made these unplayable. The result after the wood glue cleaning process was the Mel Blanc record was improved but still not great so it was glued a second time which is still in process. Ahab The Arab was remarkably better and can remain on the Jukebox. Sidebar - I couldn't find Mel Blanc "I Taut I Taw A Puddy Tat" listed in the Goldmine Price Guide to 45 RPM Records. If you know where I could find the value please comment. It is Capitol (45-6170) Y purple label. The B Side is Mel Blanc "Yosemite Sam". No it's not my favorite but the kids like to play it on the Seeburg Juke.
