"Tricky Treats" by RadiationV2, Arb, bli & more | Geometry Dash 2.11

Even though it's over a day late, it's always nice to see good levels made for Halloween. Tricky Treats is a megacollab hosted by RadiationV2 and Arb, and they did a great job alongside the 5 other creators in this. This is one of the smaller megacollabs I've uploaded in a while, which is pretty interesting. I think more megacollabs with this amount of creators should be made in the future as it usually makes the end product more consistent, as well as allowing it to be finished faster. This was started only 2 weeks ago, and that's very fast for a megacollab to be finished nowadays. I can't say the short time it was made in shows in the level, which is a good thing. It starts off very slow and grayscale, which is fitting for both the song and theme. I tend to find grayscale parts quite boring for the most part, but for a Halloween level, it's fitting, especially for such a calm part of the song. It doesn't stay with these colors for very long either, and you can see (and hear) the transition into more colors at 0:11. The rest of the level remains quite colorful, using the colors you'd expect from a level with this theme. There's lots of good art that tie in nicely too. My personal favorite parts have to be bli's and Jenkins's at 0:21 and 1:04 respectively. They both have great foreground details, which is the case for all parts in this, but their backgrounds stand out for me in particular. In terms of gameplay, I'd say this is about what you'd expect from a level of this difficulty. It will most likely be 7 Stars, and it's not particularly fun or boring. I'd say the gameplay is decent in terms of enjoyability. For a level with this much art, though, I'd say they did a good job at making it sightreadable. Levels of this style tend to be much worse to play, which isn't the case here for me.
