Constance Malcolm is the mother of Ramarley Graham. On February 2, 2012, Graham was shot in front of his grandmother and younger brother by New York City police officer Richard Haste after cops kicked in his door. Haste was not indicted due to a technicality and was allowed to resign in March 2017 rather than being fired. April 12th is Ramarley's birthday, in honor of Ramarley's memory, Constance Malcolm spoke to the ColorLines team about her fight for justice.
