Welcome to the Calling, DD Downers newest Live show. Check out his unique sound and instruments in this one of a kind show. All instruments come from mother earth. palm leaf, obsidian, lava rock, abalone shells, tree trunk, monstera leaf. In many cultures they use palm leaves in ceremonies, obsidian for tools/ weapons and ritual objects. They would trade to get lava rock which is used in Sweat lodges prayer and healing ceremonies. Abalone was used for food and had many other uses it was important to the indigenous peoples. The piezo sensors used here go through delay and filters to generate the sound on these objects. This is a a specially designed electronics performance, its a ritual for balancing humanity.
