During the crash in March I rebalanced (or fled in a panic if you like) into defensive dividend paying stocks. This worked out well, but I’m realizing I still need some growth stocks in my portfolio heading into 2021, so I’m polishing up my watchlist looking for buy opportunities. The Canadian stock market is heavily concentrated in a few sectors, so it’s not easy to diversify. It’s also not as easy to find reliable growth stocks in Canada as it is in the US where the market is bigger and the stock selection is much broader.
