Here's a quick video showing how to pressure test your coolant system. In this instance, I find the leak is coming from the hose connecting the thermostat to the radiator. I wanted to conduct this test because I was slowly losing coolant while driving. As I mentioned in my compression test video, I was an idiot and tried to drive my 535i with a failing water pump. For the record, DON'T DO THAT!!! If you have or suspect any issues with your BMW's cooling system, stop driving and resolve the issue immediately. This is one test of many to determine if your car's head gasket is blown, i.e., if you're losing coolant but there's no leak in the system. That would indicate the coolant is passing through the head gasket and into the cylinder(s). Lucky me, that wasn't the case.
