John 3:36 KJV 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Hey everyone. Bible verse of the week is John 3:36 and is a continuation of my faith alone verses in Jesus. This verse gives us a very clear message about eternal life and faith in Jesus Christ. It says that whoever believes in the Son has everlasting life. Notice it says has in the present tense. Eternal life begins the moment we truly place our faith in Jesus. What He did for us on the cross. The verse also tells us that those who reject the Son will not see life and remain under God’s judgment. Some translations phrase “believeth not” as “does not obey,” emphasizing that rejecting Jesus is refusing to trust and follow Him. What does it mean to obey Christ? To obey Jesus is to believe in Him alone. Salvation isn’t about trying harder, being good enough, or earning our way to God. It comes through believing in Jesus Christ alone. The good news is that God has already made the way through His Son. When we trust in Him, we receive forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternity with Him. So today, remember this: the gospel is obeyed when the gospel is believed. Everlasting life is found in Jesus alone. Believe in Him, trust in Him, and He will sustain you to the end. Amen.
