This video explains how to properly build the FIP for a self built mainline U-Boot. The results are available in https://github.com/ronpscg/amlogic-bo... , and that is the boot chain that has been used in the previous videos. The video explains: The vendor source U-Boot and its gotchas (need to know how to work with AOSP, old version, proprietary in a way, binaries made for old Python versions etc.) - by looking at the vendor image it was taken from. There we can see how the different flashing tools work, and where they take their memory definitions from. These files have been uploaded to https://github.com/ronpscg/amlogic-bo... What happens when you use the wrong files from another project, that was not the vendors (memory timing issues) How to properly fuse what you need and update the files How to build the FIP (Firmware Image Package), and flash it to an sdcard, demonstrating that it indeed works. There are some additional details in https://github.com/ronpscg/amlogic-bo... , which is being used in the PscgBuildOS amlogic bsp example. This concludes the series of AMLogic mainline update, and this series of videos should give you all the information you need to recover from whatever you may have done to your devices during the courses of the PSCG, or in your own free time.
