In this video, we troubleshoot a Seadoo GTR-X with an exhaust overheat issue. The owner was winter riding and immediately shut the ski down after seeing the warning. To troubleshoot, we use a thermal imaging gun to pinpoint where the problem is. We also go over the closed loop and open loop cooling systems, showing the difference between them, how they work and why they’re set up the way they are.
