Adrian and I are headed out for another scooter road trip to the Ozarks! We're riding up to meet with Neil in Arkansas, and then we'll continue to Pevely, Missouri to motocamp and to watch the World of Outlaws sprint car races this weekend. Skip around with the chapter markers below. We had a late start today because Adrian's PCX decided to shred its CVT belt on the highway coming to my house. I towed him about 6 miles to my house so we could effect repairs, and I used my 2021 Honda Trail 125 as the tow truck! (    • CT125: Can the Honda Trail 125 be used as ...   ) We replaced the CVT belt and the rear CVT drive assembly with the OEM parts, and we hoped that would resolve the original problem. Unfortunately, disaster struck again only about 45 miles from home when his PCX shredded another belt in heavy traffic on US-59. We towed it about 2 miles off of the highway, and then called my son to bring the OEM variator pieces to us. After another ~3 hours of downtime, we finally hit the road again toward Arkansas with all new Honda CVT parts in the scoot!
