Renowned film composer, orchestrator, pianist, and keyboard player, Randy Kerber has contacted Expressive E to use Osmose during the recording at Studio Pigalle in Paris of his latest duet jazz album with the talented Jowee Omicil on wind and brass. “Y Pati” is to be released at the end of 2020 on the KOMOS label. This project was one more occasion for Expressive E to collaborate with an artist in order to explore and capture some precious insights on Osmose’s playing experience. The version of Osmose used by Randy Kerber in this video is the final pre-industrial unit integrating all of its final industrialized technology: mechanical, electronics, and sound engine.
