💛 “Before Our Family Grew” – Description This was during COVID, when the world felt paused and quiet in Chicago. It was just me and my firstborn on this walk to feed the ducks 🦆 His baby brother was at home… and I didn’t realize then that this was one of our last little “just us” afternoons. In a season filled with uncertainty, masks, and staying indoors, this simple walk felt like freedom. He talked the entire time — about the ducks, the water, everything he saw. So chirpy. So full of life. I didn’t know how quickly time would move. I didn’t know how much our family would grow. I didn’t know I would one day watch this video with tears in my eyes. Just a mama and her little boy, finding joy in the smallest things during the strangest year. These are the memories I want to hold onto forever. 💛🦆
