Launch of the Clean Cooking Program in Buganda Kingdom (February 26th, 2025)

Join us as we highlight the Buganda Kingdom Clean Cooking Outreach Campaign, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at promoting clean cooking technologies for a healthier and more sustainable future. This campaign is a collaboration between the Government of Uganda (GoU) through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) and the UK Government, implemented through NREP under the Behavioral Change Communication for e-Cooking (BCCeC) project. In this video, witness how leaders, policymakers, and communities come together to: ✅ Advocate for clean cooking adoption to combat deforestation & climate change. ✅ Promote Electric Pressure Cookers (EPCs), LPG, ethanol stoves, and other modern cooking solutions. ✅ Showcase government initiatives, including tax exemptions & subsidies on clean cooking appliances. ✅ Engage in a live cooking demonstration led by Hon. Dr. Can.
