How to replace the batteries in your auto-start keyless remote. This is the one I have for my Dodge Ram, it was an aftermarket added-in option that overrides the factory remote and includes remote start. A dead or low battery Will cause the remote to either not work or only work close to the vehicle and not at a distance. #autostart #keylessentry Amazon Affiliate Links: US: https://amzn.to/47kKYMp Canada: https://amzn.to/4dRLF2w #OEMTOOLS 22560 screwdriver set: https://www.mobiledistributorsupply.c... Then using a small strainer screwdriver, you’ll find a small cut out where you can pry the case open on the key ring side. Then separate the case completely. If you are removing the circuit board, it just simply sits in place and can be removed using the standard screwdriver as well. The batteries are on the back side of the case, there are two in total and the model number is CR 2016. Remove the batteries using a standard screwdriver. Install the new batteries, the positive side faces the back of the case. Reinstall the swivel for the key ring and then install the back of the case. Make sure everything snaps in place, and check the perimeter to ensure it is fully seated. Then install the Phillips screw and tighten it. After that, you can then test the remote to ensure is working correctly. Thank you to all those who watch my videos and support my content.
