Neuroimaging Webinar 5 - Ultra High field MRI and spectroscopy in translational research

In vivo NMR Imaging and Spectroscopy are exceptional tools to look non-invasively at the brain from complementary point-of-views whether we want to study its anatomy, structure, function or metabolism. Thanks to the development of ultra-high field MR scanners, physicists can propose new methods and participate with neuroscientists, bio-informaticians and physicians to the development and validation of new biomarkers to diagnose brain pathologies or evaluate treatment response. Dr. Cyril Poupon and Dr. Fawzi Boumezbeur (CEA Paris Saclay / NeuroSpin) will focus on presenting the opportunities and challenges of MRI and Spectroscopy at ultra-high field and will use few examples to illustrate how UHF MRI and MRS can help in better understanding the Human brain in normal and pathological conditions.
