Originally a solo endeavor, Karelius has since expanded the project to include a talented group of musicians, including Mathias Hemmingby (Eldamar) on guitars, Henning Norsted on guitars, and Jon Anders Eggen (Koldharbor) on bass and vocals. Inspired by the haunting soundscapes of Eldamar, the technical prowess of Children of Bodom, and the sweeping scores of Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings soundtrack, Belfalas combines Atmospheric Black Metal and Death Metal to create a unique and captivating sound. With a focus on intricate instrumental compositions, Belfalas' music is marked by its atmospheric and ambient qualities, crafting songs that are both emotional and engaging. "Dor-En-Ernil is my personal album that explores the beauty and emotions of nature through instrumental music. It consists of three main tracks and two bonus songs, with the bonus tracks available on Spotify and Bandcamp. This album is a reflection of my innermost feelings and a deep connection to the natural world.
