**Time stamps below** It's time, almost, for most of us to start considering the possibility of being able to meet once more. Yet, despite the heavy restrictions we've been under in the last year, I'm struck by how many of us have managed to still get together around whisky. Either by taking advantage of lighter lockdown restrictions or leveraging technology and taster swaps, we've managed to keep the community torch burning. Still, I think there's more to enjoy. I'd like to share a little inspiration through stories of how people have managed to continue getting together. They've never been in better shape to take their whisky sharing forward when things truly open up once more. Maybe, with a little nudge, you can do the same. Get together, join a club or perhaps better still - start a club? I'll gather a few friends from close to home to much farther afield to share how they have managed to keep the sharing of whisky and enjoyment going in the most difficult of times, in a way that readies it for the best of times ahead. I'll ask my friend of 30 years, Bill (WhiskyDisciple) form California to share his grass-roots buddy tasting set-up. Then we'll speak to one of the newest clubs in the UK, the Nottingham Whisky Association which suffered the frustration of forming the week before Lockdown, and finally the world's best whisky club (!) the GWC, the original, : Glasgow's Whisky Club, where vPub regular Julie can share some insight into keeping things in balance and in good health to help it endure. Come along and share your stories of how you've managed to keep things convivial and social, even through the craziest of times. Let's make plans to get together once more; bring your Dramface, bring your Clubface. the time is right.
