Today, we are going to look at super easy activity to prepare for children who are practicing initial sounds. What is an Initial Sound Initial sounds are the sounds at the beginning of a word, such as 't' in table. They are the first Sounds children hear in words. The aim is for children to understand that words are made up of sounds. Eventually they are able to transfer this knowledge to their reading and writing.
