Sonic Megamix Mania is a fan-made modification of 'Sonic Mania Plus', that is also based off of another well known Sonic Rom hack (Sonic Megamix) created by Team Megamix Mania, featured as an entry in the 2023 Sonic Hacking Contest! The fan-made modification is both: 1. A Faithful Remake: Classic Mode re-creates the levels of the legendary 'Sonic Megamix' Rom-Modification with higher quality art, as well as touched-up level design compared to the original. 2. A New Experience: Megamix Mode aims to take the core ideas/themes from the original Rom-Modification and give each and every one of them a new spin. This mode features entirely new Art, Music, Level Design, and Gimmicks! In this release you can enjoy: • 12 Classic Mode Acts and The Final Fight (only 2 acts instead of 3 in each zone in classic mode) • 8 Megamix Mode Acts. • 6 Diverse Characters. All Character/Abilities, Time Attack, and Jukebox are also mentioned in the entry page for more info. - The SHC 2023 version of Sonic Megamix Mania (v0.9) here is packed full of much more content than the typical entry. It's highly recommended switching between characters as they all offer unique and fun movements that allow you to take advantage of the level gimmicks and explore character-exclusive routes. Just like the title of the video this is just a casual playthrough of classic mode as Sonic. I do have plans to do separate playthrough of classic mode 1st with all of the main characters (except Amy for right now). Once I get that done I will move on to Megamix Mode and plan to use a diffrent characters for each act in megamix mode to showcase each characters playstyle. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this MOD. Everything from the level design the sprite work is absolutely F#$%ING amazing!
