This hike takes place in the Catskill Mountains southwest of Hunter, NY. The goal of this hike is to tag the highest points of West Kill Mountain (3,899'). This peak is part of the Catskill 3500 List (https://www.peakbagger.com/list.aspx?..., the official list of the Catskill 3500 Club. The Devil's Path is a hiking trail in the Greene County section of the Catskill Mountains of New York, sometimes described as one of the most challenging trails on the east coast of the United States. Outside Magazine included the Devil's Path in its list of most dangerous hikes in the world, and Backpacker Magazine included the trail in its toughest hikes list. This trail is class 2. There is parking at the trailhead. The Diamond Notch parking lot is not on google maps, so you will drive past "Rusk Mountain Trailhead" and parking will be on the right.
