YES I DID IT! I have signed the contract for Shadybrooks Red Don!! I said yes to life, to adventure, to myself. I felt, this year it's time. I'm ready for my very own horse. Then this horse came into my life. A young, wild boy. Not the kind of horse I was looking for, honestly. But something in him has touched my soul. I have felt that connection from the very beginning - although we have lost it sometimes. With him, heaven and hell lie close together. I think this is why in the end, I decided to buy him. Not because we're the perfect team. But because he challenges me, brings out the worth and the best in me. From the time I have spend with him, I feel a huge growth. As a horseperson, but also spiritually, emotionally and personally. Not only once I cryed of frustration. Couldn't trust my own horse. That wasn't even long ago.. and won't be the last time.. but it's a path we go together. We develop together. When I was walking many hundred of kilometers through France with him, I often looked to the side and saw his beautiful face. Ready for every adventure in front of us. And I decided, this is the horse I want to spend many years of my life with. When you have won his heart, he would go through the fire for you. I love you, my horse.
