Eric Hutchinson started picking up the guitar at the tender age of 15, and it's served him pretty well so far. (Let that be a lesson, kids.) After nearly breaking through to the big time by signing with Madonna, Eric went a different way and self-released his first three albums on his own label, "Let's Break Records." Get it? Blogger Perez Hilton, and eventually the entire Internet, took notice, and his third release - "Sounds Like This" - debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and reached #5 on iTunes. Warner Bros stepped up and released "Sounds Like This" in May of 2008, as well as Eric's latest - this year's "Moving Up Living Down." He's embarking on the "Almost Solo Tour" in support of the album, beginning October 12th and taking Eric and sideman Elliott Blaufuss to over 20 cities across the US.
