Hey, this is Ryan from 2023. Looking back at these old videos is kind of insane. This is where it all started -- all of our business ventures, the YouTube New Wave -- this is where Instagram DM's and late night Discord calls blossomed into real friendships. Now, we all live in Austin, Texas together. But if I'm going to be truthful with you, the journey to get here was not always pretty. In fact, being here in Texas right now, surrounded by all these business and creative minds, is more complex than you might think. I mean, things were just so much more innocent back then. All we wanted to do was to be seen by the creator industry. We punched and scratched and crawled our way into these elite rooms as a collective. And now that we are FINALLY here, it's so different from what I thought it would be. There's a baggage that comes with success. Relationships to maintain, disagreements to be solved, serious decisions that can effect dozens of people. It's not for everybody. And a lot of the innocence that you might have started off with can quickly disappear. I don't think we realized how good we had it back then... We were always looking for the next thing, the next big business deal, the next opportunity. But what if we stopped seeking and climbing so hard? What if here is just fine?
