New Baptist Health Orthopedic Complex Opens Its Doors to Public

Baptist Health opened its new ortho complex across the street from Hard Rock Stadium giving patients the chance to “Go Where the Pros Go.” The 17,000 square foot space will offer comprehensive orthopedic, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, and rehabilitation services by a team of renowned Baptist Health experts to provide care across all orthopedic subspecialties. {TRANSCRIPT}: - [Person In Background] One, two, three. Oh, today is so exciting, opening up this new orthopedic and sports medicine facility. It was completely the brainchild of Tom Garfinkel with the Dolphins. We wanted a state-of-the-art world-class sports medicine facility on the Dolphins training facility campus. And a beautiful facility staff with unbelievable doctors led by world famous, Dr. John Uribe. Well, Baptist Health has been a great partner for a long time. Certainly, you know, the medical staff helping out our players. But having this facility here means a lot for the Miami Dolphins to be just right across a two minute walk here for our players to get an MRI, an X-Ray, et cetera. But also a lot for the Miami Gardens community and just for the community in general here in South Florida to have a place where people can come and get worked on by the same orthopedic doctors and the same doctors that see the Miami Dolphins players. Well, part of the reason why we were so enthusiastic about Tom's idea is the cool factor. The sports training facility here that the Dolphins have built with us is absolutely unbelievable. And it's so cool to be here on the Miami Dolphins home turf and overlooking the practice field while you get your therapy. I just really wanna to thank Baptist Health, you know, to thank Bo and Javier and Dr. Uribe and everybody that they've been such wonderful partners to us. The care that our players get is second to none, and that means a lot to us as a football team.
