Axial SCX24 gets a NEW Body!! | SCX24 Custom Build (3d Printed Body)

Another SCX24 build! Well this one might be closer to an SCX20 build. I got bitten by the crawling/scale bug again and wanted to build something fun so I found this K5 Chevy Blazer body on Thingiverse and decided it would be a cool build for the SCX24. Body files: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:287... I scaled the body to fit the width of the chassis so that the wheels could fit in the fenders, but that meant the wheel base is a little long. I figured this body is probably closer to 1/20th scale, but no big deal, we'll make it work. To do that, we'll have to make some custom links that we talk about in this video and I'll also be replacing the wheels and tires. But that's not all. I'm all going to be building a camper trailer, using the back half of a Blazer to match the truck itself!!
