Imphal to Tawang Vlog | Day 05 | Bomdila → Sivasagar → Tezu | Monasteries, Rivers & Assam Routes 🏔️ Day 05 begins with a calm morning in Bomdila, surrounded by fresh mountain air and quiet streets. After waking up, we explore the peaceful Bomdila Gompa and small Buddhist monasteries, experiencing spirituality and beautiful views of the town. After sightseeing, we pack our luggage and begin our long return journey towards Sivasagar, Assam. While heading down near Bhalukpong, we stop at a serene riverside camping spot along the Kameng River, enjoying the calm flow of the river and refreshing mountain air. Continuing the journey, we pass through scenic routes of Assam, trespassing Kaziranga National Park, crossing long Brahmaputra River bridges, and soaking in the lush green landscapes. We reach Sivasagar at night, and due to late hours, it becomes difficult to get local vehicles directly to Tezu. So, we travel to the nearby railway station of Simaluguri Junction (Sivasagar district).
