So we tore the mag off, and apart

we took the magneto off this wisconsin tjd two cylinder engine, it has a teledyne data plate on it but looking in the book it looks identical to the fairbanks morse fmx2b that was available for it. In the book it says that this engine could have either a wico or a fairbanks morse and that they both use the same gear. this is the first time Ive ever got into the guts of a magneto I was always scared to mess with them but it turns out there aint nothing in there but parts and with the help of you tube we got it figured out. Theres a video of a girl taking a fairbanks magneto apart that goes on an allis chalmers farm tractor. from what I can tell they all, pretty much go together and come apart the same way. The name of that channel is Dan gingell and Rachel gingell the videos they do are very good they're detailed but not to the point that you get sick of it.
