Living a simple life in the countryside 🌾 In this video, I share how we earn income by harvesting squash flowers and how this helps support our daily needs. One tie (or one bundle) of squash flowers contains 35 pieces and is tied with a rubber band. Each tie is sold for $0.25 and our daily income depends on how many ties we are able to harvest during squash season. This video is also special because I was able to meet again my close coworker from Japan. Even though it was only a short time, I was very happy and thankful to see her again. This is real countryside life—hard work, patience, simple joy, and meaningful connections. Farming may be tiring, but it teaches us gratitude and the value of every harvest.
