Nikon ZR - First Test | Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 | R3D NE

They got me!! (and no I'm not switching, just adding!) I've spent about a grand total of an hour with this camera so here is a quick montage of shots. Shot with the Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 (which seems pretty nice for a stills lens). All shot at ISO 800 in R3D NE and a mix of 25 & 50fps. First impressions the footage has some nice texture, highlights want to blow out very quickly and the camera doesn't make monitoring exposure easy. The R3D NE codec is also huge - Nikon, give us something compressed! This is graded with a new Powergrade & LUT I'm developing for my LUMIX workflow but hoping to expand to other cameras.
