On 12/25/2025 at approximately 2:51 pm, I was westbound on Interstate 30 W, when I observed a gray colored Nissan Altima bearing AR (ACX33C) and a blue colored Ford Escape bearing TX (SWL1211), both on the northern shoulder with hoods up at the 69 mile marker. I stopped to check on the welfare of the two motorists, while one explained they were changing the alternator. I asked if they had any form of identification so that I could say I stopped and checked on them. One presents a passport and I was able to identify him as Josue J. Morelos-Avelino. I handed the passport back to Morelos Avelino and continued onto to another motorist assist at the 69 mile marker eastbound. While en route, I contacted ICE Agent R to run a check on Morelos-Avelino. Agent R advised he did not have any documentation on Morelos Avelino. After an ACIC check on the Nissan Altima bearing AR (ACX33C), e-Cite history attached to this vehicle showed a" Agent R ran a check on Rojas and advised that he had been deported several times and that he would like him taken into custody. After checking on the motorist assist, I headed back to the location of Morelos-Avelino. Upon arriving, I asked the hispanic male with Morelos Avelino, if he had his identification on him. He presented a passport and I was able to identify him as Saqueo Rojas-Martinez. I placed Rojas-Martinez into handcuffs and into the back of my patrol unit. I then contacted Agent R and placed the phone on speaker mode, so that he could interview Morelos-Avelino. After the interview concluded, Agent R advised that he was illegal and that he would like him taken into custody as well. After placing Morelos-Avelino into handcuffs and into the back of my patrol unit, I notified Troop K Dispatch to send the next rotation wrecker service to recover both vehicles. I then transported Morelos-Avelino and Rojas-Martinez to the Clark County Jail. I detected the odor of intoxicants from both Morelos-Avelino and Rojas-Martinez. Upon arriving at the Clark County Jail, I administered a portable breath test(PBT) to both Morelos-Avelino and Rojas-Martinez. Rojas-Martinez gave a breath sample with a result of .015. Morelos-Avelino gave a breath sample with a result of .069
