A group of Common Grackles fly in, feed, lift off, and return again in this 36-minute winter backyard scene filmed in Central New Jersey. Recorded in February, this video features natural outdoor audio only — no music and no talking. You’ll hear wing beats, soft bird calls, seed crunching, and subtle neighborhood ambience. The ground is fully covered in snow, with a small boxwood adding a pop of brown-green against the white. Straw-colored plant stems rise above the snow, and as clouds move across the sky, shifting light creates changing patterns across the yard. A squirrel makes occasional appearances, and a Northern Cardinal briefly visits at the beginning. Species featured: • Common Grackle • Northern Cardinal (briefly) • Eastern Gray Squirrel This video is ideal for: • Relaxing • Studying or working • Background nature sounds • Sleep • Birdwatching • Nature ASMR Filmed in my front yard during late winter with authentic environmental sound.
