In this recording of the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine Renal Grand Round, Jai Radhakrishnan, MD joined us to discuss diagnosis and management of thrombotic microangiopathies. The objective of this talk is: 1. Learn to differentiate between various types of TMAs 2. Understand the role of current Therapeutic Approaches and Targeted Treatments 3. Recognize the importance of multidisciplinary Teams in Optimizing Outcomes About Dr. Radhakrishnan : Dr. Radhakrishnan is a Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. He is the Director of Clinical Services of the Nephrology Division. His clinical and research interests are in the therapy of chronic kidney disease (including glomerular diseases and lupus kidney disease), hypertension, and intensive care nephrology. He is a co-director of the hypertension center at Columbia University. He is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation. His commitment to medical education and patient care is exemplified by his numerous teaching awards and his inclusion in the Who's Who among America's Teachers & Educators, America's Best Doctors and Castle Connolly's Top Doctor. _________________________________________________________________ About NUGoKidney Northwestern University's George M.
