Many say it's one of their least favorite films in the Friday the 13th series. Still, I kinda like Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. Sure, it features a lot of Jason Voorhees on a boat instead of New York City, but still .. it features a lot of Jason Voorhees! How can you not enjoy that (let's not forget the sequel that followed, which featured hardly any Jason at all). So to celebrate this negatively criticized sequel, here's a music video featuring the song 'The Darkest Side of the Night' by Metropolis. The song is featured during the opening credits, is played in the movie itself and features during the closing credits. Talk about a theme song. The Darkest Side of the Night was performed by Peter Fredette and Stan Meissner (Metropolis).
