Brí Carr: Ealaíontóir Cónaithe Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair 2022 Dreams of Gold is a song from my album, Fréamhacha, which was released officially in Castle Heidecksburg, a beautiful baroque castle in Rudolstadt, Germany, the twin town of Letterkenny, Co. Donegal during the St Patrick's Day Irish Festival in conjunction with IMRO and Letterkenny Irish Pub, Rudolstadt. My first album, Rotha an tSaol, was released in beautiful Glenveagh Castle, Donegal. It seemed only fitting to record this music video in Heidecksburg, where I was also treated like royalty! Thanks to Martina, Falk, Selina, Karol and all who made this video and concerts possible. Thanks also to Jimmy Kavanagh and Gerry McMonagle of Donegal County Council for supporting my music. Available on all digital platforms, Dreams of Gold tells the story of life's dreams, expectations, realities and triumphs as we all work our way through the journey we are on. I dedicate this song to the beautiful Ukranian family, Natasha, Maria and Dionne, who are right in the middle of the harsh realities of their journey, and still succeed in creating hope in the midst of their despair.
