Episode 5-4 features an interview with Amber Buck. Amber’s research explores how technologies influence writers, writing processes, and identities. She studies the ways that individuals use specific writing technologies and how they integrate these technologies within their daily lives. I have a personal connection and deep admiration for Amber, who directed my dissertation and is an amazing mentor and friend. Today, I invited Amber to talk about Computers and Composition Digital Press, where she is Senior Editor. CCDP is an imprint of the Utah State University Press, and is committed to publishing innovative, multimodal digital books. The goal of the press is to honor the traditional academic values of rigorous peer review and intellectual excellence, but also to combine such work with a commitment to innovative digital scholarship and expression.
