Sahih al Bukhari, hadiths No. 1-5. Topic Focus: THE BEGINNING OF REVELATIONS Book 1: The Beginning of Revelations Collection of reliable hadiths of Imam al-Bukhari. Compiled by: Imam Muhammad bin Isma'il Abu Abdullah al-Ju'fi al-Bukhari Translation from Arabic: Vladimir (Abdulla) Mikhailovich Nirsha, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Link to electronic book (mukhtasar) version: https://www.muslim-library.com/dl/boo... Tafsir, and a more detailed extended explanation of the hadiths of Sahih al-Bukhari: https://hadis.uk/sborniki-xadisov/sax... A little about the compiler of hadith himself, about Imam al-Bukhari. Imam al-Bukhari devoted his entire life to collecting hadith. He heard hadiths from more than a thousand sheikhs, he himself recorded 200 thousand hadiths from his teachers and hadith transmitters. From this vast ocean of hadiths (800 thousand), he collected the most reliable of them, only 7275, including repeating ones. They compiled his book al-Jami' al-sahih, which became the most popular among all other collections of hadith. Imam al-Bukhari worked on his book for sixteen years. Sahih al-Bukhari is also notable for the fact that it is the first collection of hadiths compiled according to the musannaf principle, that is, with the classification of hadiths by subject. Al-Jami' al-sahih is one of the six major Sunni collections of hadith (Kutub al-sitta). Some theologians consider Sahih al-Bukhari to be the most authentic Islamic book after the Koran. According to Ibn al-Salah, Sahih al-Bukhari is more correctly called: al-Jami‘ al-musnad as-sahih al-mukhtasar min umur rasuli-l-Lah wa sunani-hi wa ayami-hi. Literally translated as “A collection of authentic hadiths from a connected chain on matters relating to the Messenger of Allah, his methods and his time.” Ibn Hajar al-Askalani mentioned the same name, replacing the word Umur with the word Hadith.
