Last year we went with some friends down to the DBBB and had a great day puttering around the loop. Went to finish the night on FinCastle, only to find a rather deep stream (i had heard this stream can be rather deep before the trip). After watching how high the water was on the two rigs infront of us, we opted to turn around and not chance hydro-locking as the water line was above my intake. On a later trip we discovered a second stream crossing just upstream that is much shallower and will eventually do the full finCastle trail.
