Greece day 7 | Discovering Athens | Trip to the Acropolis, Cats and Delicious Vegan food

Athens day 7, 3.10.24 We started the day at the famous and 100% vegan restaurant Holy Lama. We arrived in the morning and the restaurant was packed, Veterina displayed a plethora of vegan pastries and desserts, which made the choice so difficult but in the end we settled on 3 that were just as amazing as they looked. My favorite was the pink one with raspberry flavors. We also stopped at a health food store, "Cherry Blossom" style and also bought a carob snack for dogs (which is also edible for humans, the saleswoman told us after she tried it). We stopped at the Botanical Park and then got our turn at 3 pm to see the Acropolis. An impressive place but packed with tourists no matter what time we arrived. For dinner we stopped at Mama Tierra, a small and completely vegan place with excellent dishes. I tried gyros there for the first time which was amazing, Asian-flavored jack fruit buns and an olive burger! Every dish was amazing and it was impossible to choose a favorite. On the way back to the hotel, we passed through the flea markets and stopped for vegan ice cream at Planet Ice Cream.
