Bleeding the clutch in a 2001 to 2008 Peugeot 307. If your clutch pedal feels spongy or the clutch is not fully disengaging when you press the pedal to the floor then you may have air in the system. Bleeding the clutch may fix the problem. If clutch fluid has been lost from the system or air has entered due to a leak, make sure the fault has been fixed before bleeding the system. If the clutch is not working properly after bleeding the system then there could be a fault with the master or slave cylinder. Also, if the clutch is being bled due to a significant fluid loss, you should also check the brake system and bleed it if necessary, as they are both supplied with fluid from the same reservoir.
