Subscribe: ► https://www.youtube.com/leighfugeguit... In this video take a look at the MXR Deep Phase. This is a new phaser pedal from MXR but it is not a Phase 90 follow on. This pedal is actually based around another classic phaser circuit which has a very pronounced swoosh and a scooped midrange. The Deep Phase has two knobs and a switch that lets you switch between a 4 and 8 stage phaser. This pedal can do the classic Phase 90 tones, and it can get a whole lot crazier too. The 8 stage phaser mode allows you to get some laser gun sounds on the extreme settings and the 4 stage phaser can give you a subtle Leslie style swirl in the lower settings. In the video I am using my Jackson Adrian Smith SDX which is plugged into the Kool Amplification 11. The 11 is a 70s style Plexi amp. The 11 is running into the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X which is running an IR of a 4x12 Marshall style cab.
