Location: Mira Place Tower A, 132 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon This place has the weirdest service lift setup I have ever seen. Four lifts in total, all of which serve the same floors, but for some reason the architects decided to split them up into two sets of two lifts each. The first set is always behind some doors, while the second set is out in the open on mall floors. Not exactly sure why was the building built this way, it seems that they were intending for the second set to be passenger lifts initially, judging by how they have disabled COPs on the side. As for the lifts, even though they're the same model, it seems that the first set was installed slightly earlier than the second, hence they have the older dinner bells. The second set of lifts has the newer electronic chime instead. They're a lot busier too thanks to them being more exposed. Floors served: B3-B1, G, 1-12, 15-23, 25-26 Capacity: 15persons1150kg Manufacturer: Mitsubishi Electric Corporation History: Original Model: MPVF Drive: Overhead gearless traction Year installed: 1993 Speed: 2.5m/s Filmed 1 Apr 2025 18:34
