Madame Tussauds Blackpool - Marvel Superheroes Launch - The Hulk stops a Blackpool Tram

The Hulk stopped traffic in Blackpool today – literally – as the iconic green superhero was seen apparently stopping a tram, causing dramatic scenes on the seafront. The spectacular stunt was staged by Madame Tussauds Blackpool to mark the ground-breaking launch of its new MARVEL SUPERHEROES area, where the Hulk will be joined by his fellow Avengers Thor and Spider-man in a £1 million, 5,501 square foot addition to the attraction. Face to face with a vintage Blackpool and Fleetwood Box Car 40 tram beneath the Blackpool Tower, the Avengers superhero was surrounded by debris, destruction, smoke and sparks, whilst the tram was partially upended, and the tracks ripped through the concrete, causing pedestrians to double take on their morning commute.
