Conversations with...Vasili #37: With Ninety Year Old Renee Pribula- Growing Up Greek- Australian Sydney historian Vasilis Vasilas began a series of discussions with members of Sydney's Greek community about significant events in their lives. In this thirty-seventh episode Vasilis talks to Renee Pribula (nee; Amygdalos) whose parents Emmanuel and Chrysafina were from Castellorizo, about growing up in Sydney East- what it was like growing up as an Australian of Greek parentage, with all the social expectations, marrying the love of her life, Albert Pribula, and the Greek community's attitudes and behaviour towards "mixed" marriages at the time, and how she balanced three cultures- Australian, Czechoslovakian and Greek- in her family.
