Giorgio Moroder - Midnight Express - Chase [Remastered & Re-Extended by Gilles Nuytens] This is a remastered and "re-extended" version of the famous « Chase » Theme from the movie "Midnight Express" by Giorgio Moroder (1978). Re-Extended because it has already been extended officially. There are actually 3 official versions of this track: the radio edit (3:38), the soundtrack edit (8:26) and the 12'' maxi single (13:06). I don't count of course all the hundreds of reprises and covers. The 12'' maxi single version basically looped the last 5 minutes from the soundtrack edit. With its 13 minutes long it really didn't need to be extended more. However, while I was remastering this, I wanted to add my little personal touch and here it is, with 3 more minutes. This makes of this version some sort of "ultra-extended" version. And this is not a basic loop of the last 3 minutes, I have been more creative! It's been remastered from the original vinyl in ultra high quality (24bits/96khz). Too bad youtube compress it to only 128kbps... Legal notes: I do not own this music!
