Gary Numan The Pleasure Principal drum cover medley. My tribute to the drummer and album that started it all for me! The late drummer Cedric Sharpley and the album "The Pleasure Principle" by Gary Numan. I first heard the song Cars on a TV commercial for the album and I begged my Mom to take me to the record store to buy the 45 single for Cars. They were sold out, but I was not leaving without that song. They told my Mom they had the whole album and though she didn't want to buy the whole album for one song, I am so glad she did! I listened to "The Pleasure Principle" over and over every day. I knew all the lyrics and though I could not play drums yet, I loved the drum work which inspired me to take up the drums! I can still listen to this record today and love it just as much as the first time I heard it. I am a huge Gary Numan fan, Cedric Sharpley fan and I love "The Pleasure Principle"!
