World Engineering Day 2026 is a moment to recognise the engineers behind the projects, and the role engineering plays in shaping resilient infrastructure and a more sustainable future. This year’s World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) theme aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG9): Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. At Consolidated Power Projects (CPP), this reflects the work we do every day, delivering renewable and high‑voltage infrastructure through innovation, collaboration and responsible engineering to support Australia’s energy transition. To mark World Engineering Day, we spoke with three of our engineers — Kokila, Brad and Natasha — and asked what advice they would give their younger selves or those considering a career in engineering. Their message was clear: ask questions, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to learn from others. "At CPP, innovation isn’t just encouraged, it’s supported." As we continue to grow, World Engineering Day is a reminder that our greatest asset isn’t just the infrastructure we deliver — it’s the people who design, build and stand behind it. About CPP Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) delivers safe, high‑quality and environmentally responsible renewable and high‑voltage infrastructure across Australia, supporting the energy transition.
