World Engineering Day 2026 is a moment to recognise the engineers behind the projects, and the role engineering plays in shaping resilient infrastructure and a more sustainable future. This year’s World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) theme aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG9): Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. To mark World Engineering Day, we spoke with three of our engineers — Kokila, Brad and Natasha — and asked what advice they would give their younger selves or those considering a career in engineering.
